    Life in The Valley

    Living here

Streets of contemporary townhouses and villas open onto pocket parks, cycle paths and children’s play areas, and the master plan includes a sports village and a town centre. Our six homes here mix villas and apartments, giving larger groups room to spread out. Nights are dark and still, a clear change from the towers and traffic of the city.

    Eating & going out

The Valley is a young community that is still being built out, so expect to drive for most meals out. Dubai Outlet Mall is about ten minutes towards the city, Silicon Central in Dubai Silicon Oasis around 15, and the restaurants of Downtown half an hour. Kitchens and gardens make long dinners at home the easy choice.

    Getting around

A car is essential: there is no metro, and taxis are best booked in advance. The Dubai–Al Ain Road leads straight back towards the city and the airport, and in the other direction to Al Ain, roughly an hour away. The Al Marmoom camel racetrack and the open desert around Al Lisaili are a few minutes down the road.

    Don’t miss in The Valley

    • Watch camel racing at the Al Marmoom track in Al Lisaili
    • See the Dubai Sevens rugby tournament at The Sevens stadium
    • Shop the brands at Dubai Outlet Mall
    • Take a day trip along the same road to Al Ain
