Unused balance can be paid back in crypto on request: contact the concierge with the amount, the coin and network you want, and a wallet address on that network.

Security deposits

Homes
Some homes require a refundable security deposit. If the home you book does, our concierge tells you the amount and how to pay it before you arrive, and it is returned after check-out.
Any deduction from a deposit (for example, for damage) is documented with photos or receipts and shared with you before the rest is returned.
Cars: no deposit
Every car on DubaiCrypt is rented with no security deposit, whatever the payment method. Salik tolls and traffic fines are charged after the rental.

Late, short or too much
Payments that don’t go as planned are never lost: here is what happens in each case.
The payment window closed
The payment window for this booking closed before we received your payment, so the dates were released. If you sent a payment, it will be added to your balance as soon as it arrives.
Someone booked the dates first
Your payment arrived after the dates were booked by someone else. The full amount is in your balance: you can use it for other dates or another home.
You sent less than the amount due
If you send less, the payment screen shows the remaining amount: send it to the same address to complete the payment.
You sent more
If you send more, contact the concierge with the payment reference and the transaction hash.

Can I get my refund in crypto?
Refunds are added to your DubaiCrypt balance first, ready to use at checkout. Unused balance can then be paid back in crypto on request through the concierge.
Can I cancel a car rental the same way?
Yes, from “Trips” in your account: full refund up to 48 hours before pick-up, 50% up to 24 hours before, non-refundable after that.
Do I pay a deposit to rent a car?
No. Every car on DubaiCrypt is rented with no security deposit, whatever the payment method. Salik tolls and traffic fines are charged after the rental.
What if my payment arrives after the payment window closed?
The dates are released. If you sent a payment, it will be added to your balance as soon as it arrives.
What happens to my balance if I close my account?
Closing your account signs you out everywhere and deletes your profile and saved items. Any remaining balance is lost: use it or contact our concierge first.
