Privacy policy
In short
- We only collect what we need for your account and bookings.

What we collect
When you create an account, book or use our forms we collect the information you provide: your name, email address, phone number, country, booking details and messages. Your account also holds your balance and its movements, your payments, your bookings and the homes and cars you save, together with a security log of logins and account changes (device description and a hashed IP address). For confirmed bookings we also collect identity documents required by Dubai’s Department of Economy and Tourism, and for each crypto payment we keep its transaction hash.
Why we use it
To manage your account and balance, handle your bookings, process your payments, refunds and any balance paid back in crypto, carry out the legally required guest registration, keep your account secure, answer your messages and, if you subscribed, send our newsletter. We rely on the performance of a contract, our legal obligations and, for the newsletter, your consent.
Who we share it with
With the service providers who need it to carry out your booking (for example, for car delivery), with our crypto payment system when you pay, and with authorities when the law requires it (for example the DET guest registration). We never sell your data and do not share it with advertisers.
How long we keep it
Account, booking and balance records are kept for the period required by UAE tax and accounting rules. Contact messages are kept for 24 months. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time, after which your email is removed from the list.
Anonymous statistics
To rank homes and cars by what travellers actually find useful, the website counts, in aggregate and per day, how often each listing is shown in a list and at which position, opened, saved, priced or reserved. These counts contain no cookie, no identifier and no IP address, and cannot be linked to you; your IP address is only used for a few seconds to block abusive traffic. If your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, nothing is counted.
Cookies and similar technologies
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies; when you log in, we set only the cookies needed to keep you logged in. Your preferences, wishlist and recently viewed listings are stored in your own browser (local storage). When you are logged in, the homes and cars you save are also kept in your account, so you can find them on any device. See the cookie policy.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law and, for visitors from the EU, the GDPR), you can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, or object to its use. You can see and correct your details, and delete your account, at any time in your DubaiCrypt account (Profile, and Login & security).
Security
Our website uses encrypted connections, strict security headers and minimal data collection. Passwords are stored only in hashed form, and you can protect your account with two-step verification. Identity documents are only accessible to the people who need them to complete your registration.
