Can I rent a car in Dubai with cryptocurrency?

How do I pay at checkout?

Are prices higher if I pay in crypto?

No. The rental price is the same US-dollar price shown on the car, converted at the live rate. You only pay the network fee of your own transaction, which depends on the network and your wallet or exchange.

Do I still need a deposit if I pay in crypto?

No. Every car on DubaiCrypt is rented with no security deposit, whatever the payment method. Salik tolls and traffic fines are charged after the rental.

What happens if I send the wrong amount or use the wrong network?

If you send less than the amount due, the payment screen shows the remaining amount to send to the same address. If you send too much or use the wrong network, contact the concierge with your payment reference and transaction hash; our help centre explains what to do for each case.

How are refunds paid?

Refunds go instantly to your DubaiCrypt balance, in US dollars: in full up to 48 hours before pick-up, and 50% up to 24 hours before. You can use the balance for a future booking at checkout, or have unused balance paid back in crypto on request through our concierge.

Do I get a receipt?

Yes. Your voucher and a receipt in US dollars are in your DubaiCrypt account as soon as the rental is confirmed.
