About this car

Nothing else on the road looks quite like the Slingshot, a two-seat, three-wheeled open roadster, and this 2020 R Limited Edition is finished in blue with black seats. With an open cockpit and room for one small bag, it is about the experience rather than practicality. This one shifts automatically and runs on petrol, and its touchscreen supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Best saved for cool, clear evenings between November and March, perhaps for a slow run along the Palm Jumeirah crescent or to Dubai Marina. It can be taken for one day with 200 km, comprehensive insurance applies and the Slingshot is a GCC-specification vehicle. There is no deposit, which keeps a spontaneous booking simple.
