What do I need to check in to a Dubai holiday home?
What to expect at check-in: DET guest registration, documents, times, keys and house rules.
Dubai requires every guest of a holiday home to be registered with the Department of Economy and Tourism (DET).
- A passport (or Emirates ID) for each guest at check-in
- The main guest must be 18 or older
- Check-in from 15:00 and check-out by 11:00, unless the listing says otherwise
- Keys are handed over in person, through the building concierge or by smart lock
House rules
Quiet hours are generally 22:00 to 08:00, parties and events are not allowed without written approval and smoking is not allowed indoors. Each listing shows its specific rules.
